About ERPC

The ERPC is one of the longest-running regional conference on photosynthesis in the United States. Traditionally, it is held at the Marine Biology laboratory in Woods Hole, MA during the begining of Spring.

Researchers, from the U.S. East Coast and Canada, meet for a stimulating and refreshing scientific exchange. Our distinctive character is a friendly atmosphere favoring discussion during meals, poster receptions, and oral presentations. Several faithful attendees form a core group of participants that has fostered much fruitful collaboration based on this long-term familiarity.

We strongly encourage the participance of students and early carrier scientists, and special attention is given to the development of these young scientist in a collegial learning environment.

The attendance has varied but we expect approximately 75-100 attendees based on the scheduled program.
